Skagway Times app
Your phone guide for a day ashore: today's ships, an audio walking tour and maps that keep working without signal.
Use the all-aboard time printed in your ship's daily program. Some ships keep a different time from Skagway; if yours does, the program says so. The countdown runs on Skagway time and tells you to be back 30 minutes early. The calendar reminder works even when this app is closed; on-phone alerts work while the app is open.

Put Skagway Times on your phone
Free, with no account. It opens like an app, works without signal for the pages you have opened, and updates itself whenever we update the site.
On iPhone or iPad (Safari): tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
On Android (Chrome): tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
On a computer (Chrome or Edge): click the install icon at the right of the address bar.
What works without signal
- The audio walking tour, the walking map list and pins, In Port Today, the time-in-port plans, the border checklist and every place on the walking map, which are saved when you install. Any other page is saved once you open it.
- The map background shows only for areas you viewed while online.
- The all-aboard countdown and your location on the map (GPS needs no signal).
Videos, the weather forecast and booking links need a connection. Downtown Skagway has cell service, but it can be slow when several ships are in. Open the app on the ship's Wi-Fi before you go ashore so the newest copy is saved.
